Chocolate Chip Cookies for Two

Ever just needed warm chocolate chip cookies, but only had one or two stomachs to feed? These are the perfect 20 minute cookies for you. Just grab a glass of milk to accompany these babies and everyone will be happy! 🙂

Chocolate Chip Cookies for Two
Yields 4 giant cookies or 6 normal sized cookies
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/3 cup chocolate chips
  1. Preheat oven to 325F.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk the butter and sugar together. Add the vanilla and yolk and whisk until smooth and creamy.
  3. Sprinkle the flour, baking soda and salt over the wet ingredients, and stir until just mixed. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  4. Scoop the dough into 2-6 portions depending on how many cookies you want. They will spread a lot- so leave at least 3-4 inches between each scoop of dough.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes. Do NOT overbake. They may look doughy on the inside- but they will continue to bake while they cool.
  6. Cool on the cookie sheet for 5 minutes then transfer to a wire rack.
